Venkatesh Kannappan, MD & CEO

Mr. Venkatesh Kannappan, B.E (EEE), MBA Marketing and Systems, PGDSM Software, was born in the cultural city of Tanjore in the year 1976. He brings over 2 decades of rich experience to the table from the Banking and Finance sectors. .

He has a strong background and expertise in start-ups, steering business, risk management, product development and organization building. Revenue generation and profitability for start-ups is his strength. He is a senior banking professional who has worked with leading banks and finance companies. .

Backed with the experience of building retail books of more than INR 13500 crores in various organisations across several products over the last 20 years has a high-level expertise in building companies and large teams from ground up. He has always specialised in assessment of informal sector and in handling of multiple products such housing, mortgage, vehicle, personal, gold loans etc.

In his role as the Regional Head, South, HDFC Bank he has been part of founding team of CV business. When he was the Business Head, Reliance Commercial Finance he was heading Sales & Distribution for team of 600 across the country. He had brought in unique aspects of the market in lending policy and used a bottom-up approach for building book..

From there he moved as the Group Product Head & Group Executive VP, Yes Bank where he managed team of 40 product managers and held P&L responsibility for retail assets. .

He responsible for various digital initiatives, analytics-based decision making, automation of underwriting process introduced during his time with the organisation. In his previous role as the Chief Operating Officer, Hinduja Housing Finance he was the founding member responsible for up the HFC, hiring a team of 1500, organizational built up including IT infrastructure.

Somesh Dixit, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Somesh Dixit, a BE and MBA graduate, started his career in housing finance in 1995, has till now worked in major Banks and NBFCs over the past 27 years including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, DHFL and IndusInd Bank in various leadership roles right from regional, zonal to national level roles. He specialises in setting up a strong team and establishment of robust distribution channels and increasing the effectiveness of existing distribution networks for the distribution of home loan and mortgage products.

He started his career with Gujarat Lease Financing Limited & GLHL Housing Finance Limited where he was responsible for the growth of their industrial finance and housing finance programs. His next role was with ICICI Bank Limited where in his role as the Regional Business Head in charge of the MP & Chhattisgarh region and Kolkata & North East region, he was responsible for setting up and development of the team of sales and credit managers at various levels. He ensured establishment of new channels and increasing the effectiveness of existing distribution channels.

In his roles as the zonal sales manager (north zone) in HDFC Bank and zonal head (north and east zone) in Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited, he was responsible for top line and bottom line target achievement as well as business generation and development of Affordable Home Loan segment for his zone. In his previous role as the NSM – HL & LAP, Indusind Bank Limited in addition to ensuring development of business strategies and setting up of a team capable taking up higher responsibilities he was involved in the development of alternate revenue streams by bundling other banking products with the home loan products.

Anand, National Sales Manager

Anand is Bcom Degree holder, currently heading the sales Team of Aham HFC and having close to 2 decades of experience in Banking and Financial industry. He started his career with ING Vysya Bank. He has a very good team handling experience and developing & implementing sales Strategies across various states or geographies of nation. He is good at creating sales plans and analyse data to compare sales goals for the Productivity & Profitability to the organisation. His previous assignment he was the business head for Sasvitha Home Finance.

PS Raj Kumar, Head Credit

Raj Kumar is a senior professional holding MBA degree and having more than 23 years’ experience in Sales (Banking Product) and Credit Risk Management. His core competencies involves strategic planning, Credit & Risk, Revenue Generation, Key Account Management, Business Development and Client Relationship Management. He was a part of Mannapuram Home Finance Limited as Regional Credit Manager prior to joining Aham Housing Finance.

Karthick, Head Risk Control Unit

Karthick is Currently heading Risk Containment Unit. He has completed his MBA education from Symbiosis. He comes with a rich experience of 15 years diversified into Fraud Control, Operational Risk and Market Research. Expertise in fraud control in vehicle finance & home Loans / Loan against Property’s. Before joining AHAM he was with Cholamandalam as a Senior Fraud Control Manager and prior to Cholamandalam he has been associated with Scope International, RR Donnelley, Infosys. He has a very good exposure in Risk management in the process of identifying, assessing and controlling threats to the portfolio.

Rajesh Sharma, Company Secretary

Rajesh Sharma is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and has also completed M.B.A. (Finance) from University of Madras. He has 4 years of experience in the Banking sector and worked with ICICI Bank Limited. Before joining Aham, he was associated with Murugappa group and completed 3 years in Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Limited. He was also associated with Asirvad MicroFinance Limited. He has extensive experience in handling Secretarial and Compliance functions in terms of Company law, SEBI, IRDAI, RBI etc.

Rufus Ravi Kiran, Head - Human Resources

Rufus joined us to Head the Human Resources department. He has more than decade's experience handling all the gamut’s of HR. Expertise in Recruitment (IT, Non IT, NBFC & BFSI ), HR Process Design & Implementation, Handbooks / HR Manuals & SOP's, Training and Development, Compensation Management, Performance Management, Grievance Handling, Administrative compliances. His core competencies include Employee Relations & Engagement, Statutory Compliances, & HR Process Automation.

He has completed his M.S.W – HR & PM-IR, from the reputed institution, Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. He will be catalyst for the rapid expansion of the sales force which is the most important prerequisite to reach our set sales goals and automate the HR and related processes of the organisation. Earlier to Aham, he has worked with TVS Credit and Equitas Bank.

Logith, Head - Product

Logith completed B-tech Degree and Msc from UK University and currently heads the Product Design Department & carries a rich experience in the AHF product vertical. He comes with strong expertise with the AHF product design & steering business to market. He is an experienced professional to build and manage a product roadmap through user research and product analysis. Highly involved in launching or enhancing a product, while also providing a strategic vision. In his previous assignment he was an Area Business Head at Hinduja Housing Finance Ltd.
